WALK-INS - INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

These instructions are intended to help you with the installation of your walk-in cooler/freezer. You should follow these general procedures, specific procedures may vary, depending on site conditions ect. Please read all instructions before continuing with the installation.

1. Receiving - Inspect each pallet for visible signs of damage. If there is obvious damage, note Damaged on the freight bill. Any damage must be reported to the freight company within 15 days of receipt. It is your responsibility to file a claim with the freight company immediately.

2. Identifying Panels - Panel numbers will coincide with the numbers found on the panel layout drawing, which will accompany the walk-in. Sort panels by location (ceiling, wall, floor) to minimize handling and possible damage.

3. Site Preparation - The floor and surrounding area on which the walk-in will be placed must have a stable foundation. Any movement of the floor because of freezing, thawing, soil conditions, or any other reason may damage the walk-in. This sort of damage is not covered by warranty.

4. Ventilation - You must maintain proper ventilation and humidity control in the area surrounding the walk-in. A minimum airspace of 1-1/2 to 3 inches surrounding the walk-in must also be observed. If dew point is reached, condensation will form on exterior surfaces, possibly resulting in damage. Please note (Quarry Tile and/or Concrete Floors), sheet metal panel facings may be susceptible to staining, due to excessive moisture created by hydration. Therefore it is absolutely necessary that rooms are properly ventilated. Also special precautions must be taken when using muriatic acid, due to affects acid fumes have on aluminum and stainless steel. Damage due to improper ventilation is not covered under terms of the warranty.
